A leading architectural hardware manufacturer asked BV Fasteners to supply a range of fixing kits to accompany their products. Included in the kits were an assortment of bespoke fasteners and parts made from steel, stainless steel, brass and nylon. The variety of products and materials meant these needed to be manufactured using various techniques, specifically to the drawings provided.
Utilising various skilled manufacturers in our network, all bespoke parts were made exactly to the required specifications whilst also providing significant cost and time saving benefits. Once manufactured the parts were packed into the necessary kits then put into stock and boxed in agreed quantities ready to be called off.
Sourcing fasteners in a variety finishes to match their ironmongery ranges was a challenge for one of our longest serving customers. Applying different types of patching to screws can be extremely time consuming and difficult, especially when being used in large quantities. Several of our customers use different types and sizes of screws with these applications and asked us to supply them with the patching already applied.
Using efficient application techniques we have Tuflok patching applied to both small and large quantities of screws dependent on requirements. These are delivered either bulk or packed to specification so they now have fasteners ready for use whenever they need them.
